A.T. Cason
Co-founder, Executive Director, Artist
A.T. Cason holds a BA in Music Education and an MM in Music Education. He has been writing songs and poetry from a young age and has performed his original songs in hundreds of venues across multiple countries as a member of the folk duo, Songs of the Folk. In 2025, A.T. had his first collection of poetry, Boy Poet, published by Shortster. He is happiest when he is sharing his songs and stories with people in meaningful settings. In addition to music and writing, A.T. enjoys gardening and hiking in the mountains.

Lauren Cason
Co-founder, Administrator, Artist
Lauren Cason holds a BA in Piano Performance and an MM in Piano Pedagogy. She has always had a heart for using music to help those who have limited access to it, and this organization is the fulfilment of a long-time vision to have a charitable music organization. In college, Lauren got the opportunity to spend a summer teaching piano in East Harlem, NY for a non-profit and this experience shaped her future. She has had the honor to perform with Songs of the Folk for many people who are in difficult situations in the US, as well as internationally. She loves to knit, cook, and spend time with her cats.

Jeremy Maestro
Secretary
Jeremy Maestro is a Political Science major from California State University, Northridge and a former non-profit board member. He has nurtured a lifelong love for music and the arts. He's a devoted family man, happily married with two beautiful children, and cherishes every moment spent with them. When he steps away from work, you can find him passionately following the Los Angeles Dodgers or settling in for a great film as an avid movie lover.

Eric Warren
Treasurer
Eric Warren, a native of Hendersonville, NC is a proud husband to Sally, his wife of over 15 years and father to three great children. Eric and Sally met in college at Appalachian State University. Eric loves to spend time on family hikes and canoe trips, as well as working with the family on their small suburban homestead. Professionally, Eric guides families and businesses toward achieving fulfilling and generous financial lives. He uses his experience and skills to serve as treasurer for the Asheville Choral Society and For the Folk, two organizations that have enriched the Warren family.
